What kinds of services do you offer?
We provide a wide range of small home repair, maintenance, and safety services designed to help senior citizens live comfortably and securely at home. Our services include everyday fixes around the house, basic plumbing and electrical, appliance and furniture support, home safety improvements, seasonal maintenance, pest control, HVAC upkeep, electronics and smart home setup, security upgrades, and vacation check-in services, such as mail pickup and home monitoring.
What if I need work beyond your scope of services?
If a project requires a licensed specialist—such as an electrician or plumber—we can help coordinate the work for you. We’ll connect you with a trusted, properly licensed professional, assist with scheduling, and help ensure the job is completed to your satisfaction.
How do the membership plans work?
We offer three membership plans—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—each providing a guaranteed scheduled 2-hour visit every 3, 2, or 1 month, respectively. Members enjoy up to 35% savings compared to standard rates, plus added benefits such as Home Safety Audits, additional service discounts, priority scheduling, and remote phone support.

What are your pay-as-you-go rates?
Our pay-as-you-go service rates are:
$195 for first 2 hours
$89/hour for each additional hour
Depending on your membership plan, you may receive up to 15% off these standard rates.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership plan?
Yes — you can move between tiers to match your needs. If you find you want more frequent visits, you can upgrade; if you need less, you can downgrade.
Can I "bank" unused membership hours?
No — our membership plans are built around regular visits and preventive maintenance, not hoarding hours. Unused hours do not carry over. Rest assured, you'll love our services so much, that we are confident you will use up all of your hours!
What if I move or want to cancel my membership?
You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you’re moving, we’re also happy to help make the transition easier—including packing assistance, furniture disassembly, and coordination with professional movers.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit, cheque, pre-authorized payments, e-transfers, and cash. You will receive an itemized invoice with every payment.
How do I schedule a service visit?
Simply call us and let us know what you need help with—we’ll take care of the rest and find a time that works for you. As a member, you’ll also enjoy priority scheduling and discounted rates.
How do you track & report what you do on each visit?
Each visit comes with a fully itemized invoice and service summary that details hours worked, tasks completed, and recommendations for future visits.
Can I trust the handyperson coming to my home?
Absolutely! Every Mr. Fix Senior handyman and handywoman is insured and has passed a vulnerable sector police background check. We hire with a senior-first mindset and carefully select friendly, reliable, and skilled individuals who receive specialized training to understand the unique safety and comfort needs of older adults.
Where is Mr. Fix Senior located?
Mr. Fix Senior is a fully mobile service, so we come directly to you rather than operating from a storefront. This allows us to focus on providing reliable, high-quality service across York Region and the surrounding GTA. Our mailing address (19-13085 Yonge Street, Suite 125, Richmond Hill, ON L4E 0K2) is listed for business correspondence and transparency.
What cities do you service?
We currently serve Aurora, King City, Richmond Hill, Markham, Newmarket, Stouffville, and Vaughan. If you live outside of York Region but within the Greater Toronto Area, give us a call — we may still be able to accommodate your request.
